I’m really pleased to announce a special concert in December. It’s taking place at a beautiful venue in Porto, Portugal. In the past, Michael and I have toured at times as Bliss/Bliss, sharing from each of our original catalogs together on stage, and we’ll be doing this again for this concert.
We’ve pulled together a great band of experienced musicians from our surroundings in northern Portugal (with our guitar player hailing from Vigo, Spain) to support us as we play our originals along with some holiday songs sprinkled in. We’re working on getting some quality video of this show so that we can share some of these performances with you, even if you’re far away!
Here’s some information about the show, in case you are in the vicinity and would like to come. It’s a free, unticketed event, and no reservations are needed.

The songwriting and singing of Cheryl Bliss have been described by critics as "stimulating, refreshingly different, and completely cool" and feature an eclectic mix of her ethereal, emotive vocals, solid songwriting, and lush, earthy arrangements. Cheryl has played in venues throughout the United States, Great Britain, and Europe. She has been invited to share the stage with Chris Whitley, Michelle Shocked, Johnny Ramone, and other great artists and bands. She has released two full albums and several singles is currently in the studio recording her third full-length album.
